First post of the new year and it comes in February, all well better late than never, no? Right now I'm gearing up for the release of my next book, Black Widow Witch, which should be out this month. Also to be released this month...my daughter! Any day now my little one should be making her arrival, which I am of course super excited about. Needless to say, being an expectant mother has taken up a lot of my time these past months. There were a few projects I'd hoped to finish before baby arrived but it became apparent that just wasn't going to happen. I will just have to work hard to find a way to still get my writing in with a baby.
In a few months it will be a year since Affairs of the Dead was released and I am ITCHING to get the sequel done. But boy is it being a stubborn little sequel. I've got almost 41k words in and then came to a screeching halt. It's hard juggling so many plot threads and needing to do them all justice. These past few days I've been trying to see if I can untangle the threads. I actually wrote two paragraphs after months and months of not touching the book so I see that tiny progress as a step in the right direction. This looks like it's gonna be one I'll have to fight through, but hopefully the end result won't be disappointing.
Cover reveal for Black Widow Witch will hopefully happen soon, and I will be doing a blog tour in early March. I'm quite excited to release this story!
